This $100 ticket includes our group bus transportation to and from the Detroit Marriott Troy, as well as entry fees to the following venue* on Friday May 16:

Detroit Institute of Art - all-day activity

Ticket does not include meals. $100 per person.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN BOTH DAYS, MAY 15 & 16, BE SURE TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR BOTH DAYS. THEY ARE SOLD SEPARATELY, AS SOME GUESTS CANNOT ATTEND BOTH DAYS.

* if a planned venue becomes unavailable, TJS will substitute it with an equally engaging alternate venue, and we will let you know.

TJS registration has two registration phases and several categories for attendees. Please read this section so you know which one applies to you. 


$50 DISCOUNT OPTION: There is a $50 registration fee discount for booking your hotel room at the Detroit Marriott Troy in advance of your conference registration.

How to get the registration fee discount:

  1. FIRST book your hotel room at the Detroit Marriott Troy, on the TJS group room block ($154/night +tax), via the link on the Location & Date page
  2. Once the Marriott emails you a confirmation, forward that confirmation to jessa@thejewelrysymposium.com in exchange for a $50 discount code to use when you register (each code is unique, good for one use, one code per hotel room)
  3. Once you have the discount code, apply the code in the Promo/Coupon field on the left side under the amount total when you register

If you book your room after you register, TJS will not issue refunds for the registration discount. The discount only applies if rooms are booked before you register. One discount code per room.


To keep our costs and your registration fees down, TJS booked a block of rooms, at a discounted group rate. Please help us fill that room block by booking your stay at our event hotel.


REGISTRATION PRICING
Early Bird registration runs through March 31st, then registration fees increase.

Early Bird categories and fees
For single attendees

$1,195/person (or only $1,145 with discount code from proof of hotel booking, one discount per hotel room)

For 3 or more attendees registered together

$1,145/person (or only $1,095/person with discount code from proof of hotel booking for all 3 or more registrants, one discount per hotel room)


After March 31st - categories and fees

$1,345/person (or only $1,295 with discount code from proof of hotel booking, one discount per hotel room)

For 3 or more attendees registered together

$1,295/person (or only $1,245 with discount code from proof of hotel booking for all 3 or more registrants, one discount per hotel room)


Guest dinner passes are $50/person per night, May 17, 18, and 19. Daytime meals and breaks are for attendees only.


Registration includes your attendance for the entire conference, access to the Welcome Dinner on Saturday May 17th, and all TJS-arranged meals and breaks until the end of the conference on Tuesday. Registrants will also receive a copy of the 2025 proceedings book and a thumb-drive containing the papers and presentations given at the 2025 symposium.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration fees will be refunded 100% if cancellation is received by April 30, 2025 (group rates will be refunded appropriately). Fees are not refundable for cancellations received after April 30, 2025. However, registration fees are transferable to another person for attendance at the 2025 Symposium only.
