Santa Fe Symposium®
Papers Archive
The SFS library is maintained by the Symposium to help you stock your own library of jewelry-making and manufacturing knowledge. Each paper is available individually as a FREE digital file that you download and read or print as you wish. Please remember that these are copyrighted materials and may not be distributed to a third party for any reason.
The Vicenza Symposium
The Vicenza Symposium brings together industry experts and opinion leaders from the jewelry making and fashion accessories industries. Held in conjunction with T. GOLD and VICENZAORO, this biennial conference delves into critical topics such as metallurgy and alloys, manufacturing processes, surface coatings, regulations and standards, sustainability in production contexts and technologies, as well as counterfeiting and ethics. TVS' mission is to encourage enthusiastic, international effort towards innovation across all fields of the jewelry-making industry. Connect, learn, and shape the future of jewelry with us at the Vicenza Symposium.
MJSA Education Foundation
A 501(c)(3) non-profit subsidiary of Jewelers of America, the MJSA Education Foundation supports career and training initiatives for students and workers throughout the industry. Its efforts range from scholarship opportunities to programs that connect prospective jewelers with mentors, apprenticeships, and rewarding careers.
Founded by Owain Houghton and Chris Corti, this site is a not for profit site to further the understanding of metallurgical processes.
During the recent and final Santa Fe Symposium, "Owain, Chris and others decided that a free-to-access and easy-to-understand website could help widen the reach and help all stakeholders benefit from the (Santa Fe) Symposium."
